Do you enjoy helping people and working in a friendly, professional and fast-paced environment? Join our team! Our lab assistants are an important part of the Salem Clinic family! They care for patients during a stressful part of their health journey, whether they are seeking a diagnosis, preparing for surgery, or ensuring all systems are okay. Lab assistants perform activities to support the collection of blood, urine, and other specimens for laboratory testing. They perform EKGs/Holter monitor placement, and work within the electronic health record (EHR) and laboratory information system (LIS) to manage patient processing, pour offs and preparation/batching of samples being forwarded to Referral Laboratory
