The Virtual Nurse  is responsible for scheduling of field staff, managing all touch-points (field staff, care recipient and family caregiver) and client care standards, and ensuring the branch meets or exceeds inquiry conversion goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer care procedures and serve as the primary client contact.

  • Meet or exceed inquiry-to-client conversion goals.

  • Ensure high-quality care at all client touchpoints (phone, in-home consultation, follow-ups at 24 hours, 7 days, and every 30 days).

  • Support intake calls, referrals, and service standards.

  • Maintain client satisfaction scores of 9+ and deliver a “perfect 10” experience.

  • Review and communicate client care plans with staff.

  • Report changes in client condition to the Director of Nursing (DON).

  • Prepare clinical notes and summaries.

  • Counsel clients and families on care needs.

  • Supervise and coach nursing staff virtually.

  • Conduct performance evaluations of CNAs.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.

  • Participate in performance improvement activities.

  • Maintain client records and share updates with referral sources.

  • Answer office phones professionally.

  • File, scan, and upload employee/client documents weekly.

  • Process new hire paperwork and maintain compliance.

  • Enter new clients/employees into ABS within 24 hours.

  • Review schedules daily for accuracy and resolve clock-in/out issues.

  • Support technology tools (ABS2, Workbright, RingCentral, Hireology, BrightConnect).

  • Assist with audits and intake calls as directed.

  • Collaborate with the Recruiter and DON on staffing needs.

  • Monitor employee credentials and performance.

  • Schedule staff for client engagements up to 3 months in advance.

  • Provide weekly client schedules and manage staff absences.

  • Ensure consistent staffing with minimal overtime 

  • Conduct quality assurance touchpoints 

  • Process schedules for clients

  • Minimum High School Diploma required, though prefer Bachelor’s Degree

  • LPN, RN, EMT certified or equivalent preferred but not required.

  • CPR Certification

  • Strong leadership and management skills.

  • Nursing background with the ability to supervise and coach staff.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency with scheduling and healthcare technology systems.
