Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Operate equipment such as cookers, dryers, presses, mills, blowers, conveyors, and pumps
- →Manage truck loading, tanker sanitation, and yard truck movement for weighing/loading trailers
- →Use touchscreen controls, buttons, and switches to monitor systems
- →Perform cleaning/sanitation duties including tank washing, trash removal, and chemical handling
- →Execute Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures for setup, teardown, and light maintenance
- →Maintain compliance with HACCP protocols using an iPad for product safety and quality tracking
- →Work safely at heights up to 60 feet to clean silos and pipes
- →Use forklifts (PIT) and potentially low boys for material handling
- →Handle pork offal (e.g., heads, blood, guts, hair) as part of raw material processing
Requirements

- Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
- Proficient in basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Must speak, read, and understand English
- Willingness to work overtime and some Saturdays
- Not afraid of heights; must work on silo platforms (approx. 60 ft)
- Experience or willingness to learn chemical and high-pressure hose use
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Experience in food production, sanitation, logistics, or mechanical roles
- Familiarity with LOTO, HACCP, and industrial cleaning procedures
- PIT certified or prior forklift operation a plus
