We are are seeking an experienced OB-GYN Hospitalist Medical Director to lead the development and long-term success of this program. 

 

• →Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the OB-GYN hospitalist team
• →Lead program development, including workflows, protocols, and team culture
• →Drive quality improvement, patient safety, and performance metrics
• →Collaborate with hospital administration, nursing leadership, and community OB/GYNs
• →Support recruitment, onboarding, and mentorship of hospitalist providers
• →Ensure compliance with clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices

 

• →
  • →Manage OB triage, admissions, deliveries and inpatient care 
  • →Cover the OB floor and handle ER consults for GYN emergencies
  • →Provide care for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage 
  • →Assist in surgical procedure during c-sections 
  • →Respond to emergencies in L&D unit 
  • →Work with maternal-fetal medicine specialists to manage high-risk pregnancies 
  • →Collaborate with in-house neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners in level III NICU setting

As Medical Director, you will provide clinical leadership and strategic direction for this OB-GYN Hospitalist program. You'll partner closely with hospital leadership to ensure a high-performing, collaborative, and patient-centered service.

 

• Schedule: 24-hour, in-house shifts
• Team Structure: 1 Medical Director + 3 OB-GYN Hospitalists
• Scope of Practice:
  • OB and GYN triage and surgery
  • Labor & delivery management
  • Obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
  • Inpatient consults
