Cloverleaf Bio is an early-stage therapeutics company that is developing a new class of engineered RNA therapeutics.

We are seeking an experienced in vivo Scientist to join our team. In this position, you will work in close conjunction with our founding team in the creation and development of a completely novel family of RNA therapeutics.

Your responsibilities will include designing and executing in house animal experiments in mice, proposing, planning and coordinating toxicity, pharmacology and efficacy studies at CROs, performing in vitro experiments to characterize the mechanism and potency of candidate RNAs, and providing in vivo pharmacology and physiology expertise to accelerate development of our tRNA therapeutics.

Requirements

  • PhD in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, or related fields.
  • Must have hands-on experience with mouse models of disease (preferably oncology), tissue collection and processing, and routine drug administration including intravenous and subcutaneous injections.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently plan and execute in-vivo studies, data analysis and interpretation.
  • Skilled in mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques.

Nice to Have

  • Strong molecular/cell biology experience, particularly in immunology, RNA biochemistry and/or protein biochemistry.
  • Hands-on experience with flow cytometry, IHC, ELISA.
  • Experience with design/development RNA therapeutics and lipid nanoparticles.
  • Previous experience selecting and overseeing work at CROs.
