Club SciKidz MD offers science and technology summer camps for children ages 4-15 years in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Howard, and Montgomery counties. We are hiring Technology Summer Camp Instructors to work in our camps at our Annapolis location. Applicants MUST have experience in all of these areas : Coding, Lego Mindstorms (NXT & EV3), Minecraft, and Video Game Making.

Our camps are held the weeks of June 15th through July 31st. Staff are scheduled by the week. Staff hours are approximately 8:15am-4:15pm with one before and one after care shift each week.

Pay starts at $575 per week and is dependent on your experience.

Have experience working with different forms of technology; (ex. Coding, Lego Mindstorms, Robotics, Minecraft, and Video Game Making)
Have some experience working with children is preferred
Interested in teaching technology basics and skills to campers
Are reliable & hard working; have reliable transportation
Can commit to work at least 5 weeks throughout the summer. Preference given to applicants who can do all 6 weeks. If interested, additional weeks are available the last half of the summer at our Odenton location.

Responsibilities

→ Supervising campers
→ Implementing provided lessons (all lessons, materials & supplies are provided)
→ Keeping applicable technology in working condition; problem solving and fixing as needed
→ Keeping kids engaged, while maintaining a safe environment
→ Have fun with what you are doing
→ Being on time every day for your required shifts (you are scheduled by the week, so you work a whole week (Monday-Friday) for the weeks you are scheduled
→ Working with other staff to provide an excellent camp experience
