Summary of Job Duties

Condley and Company, LLP is hiring a Manager (5+ years experience) for its Client Advisory Services (CAS) department.


CAS managers with Condley and Company engage with clients' complex accounting situations, providing them with peace of mind and the opportunity to add value to their businesses.

 

CAS managers:

  • Review payroll, accounts payable, payroll tax reports, sales tax reports, general ledgers, and other related accounting services tasks
  • See the big picture for clients' business, objectives, and industry; think creatively to solve business problems as well as team conflict
  • Take responsibility for service quality, thoroughness and accuracy; proactively work with clients to gather data and follow-up on open items
  • Analyze and interpret detailed information and research according to client circumstances; assess problems and issues and interprets the implications for the client


Minimum Entry Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and CPA license
  • Knowledge of payroll preparation and payroll tax reporting
  • Knowledge of general ledger review and financial statement preparation
  • Advanced understanding of accounting procedures
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Pak Energy, or Sage Intacct is a plus
  • Authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship

  • Maintain a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite products and other firm software
  • Work autonomously under the pressure of tight deadlines and multiple priorities
  • Retain learning/knowledge from one client to the next; continuously apply and build on prior learning

 

Key Development Opportunities 

  • Interact and collaborate with Senior Managers and Partners 
  • Learn more about the various service lines - what we offer as a firm 
  • Attend and assist with leading CAS department meetings and trainings
  • Take initiative, seeking exposure to more complex clients and projects 
  • Seek exposure to multiple teams/people/work styles from which to learn
  • Read journals/publications and internal professional publications
  • Networking: community and professional organizations, alumni programs, etc.
