Fullstack Engineer (MERN)

As a Fullstack engineer at Confiz, you will focus on developing and maintaining scalable web applications and integrating them with backend services. You will collaborate with other engineers to ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness while translating designs and concepts into efficient and maintainable code. Expertise in React, Node.js, and related tools is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

•  Responsible for the development and maintenance of web applications.
•  Focus on building web applications and their seamless integration with backend services.
• Collaborate with engineers and developers across different layers of the infrastructure.
• Commit to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and delivering quality products.
• Translate designs, wireframes, and mockups into highly composable and efficient code.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Define, design, and ship new features collaboratively with the team.
• Work with GraphQL APIs using Apollo Server and Apollo Client for optimized data queries and mutations.
• Identify bottlenecks, resolve bugs, and improve application efficiency.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation throughout the development lifecycle.

• 5-8 years of experience with ReactJs & NodeJs and related ecosystems, including Apollo Client and Apollo Server for GraphQL APIs.
• Must have experience of working with NextJS
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Proficiency in backend development using Node.js and package management tools like NPM/Yarn.
• Experience with GraphQL APIs, specifically using Apollo Server and Apollo Client/URQL to handle optimized queries and mutations.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and modern web styling tools.
• Experience with Azure PostgreSQL for database management and Nginx as a web server or reverse proxy.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of tools like Mikro ORM for database interaction is a plus.
• Experience with project tracking tools like JIRA.
• Strong understanding of code versioning tools, preferably Git.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
