This position maintains the facilities of the City in a clean, sanitary, and safe condition.
Responsibilities
~1 min read1. Performs assigned cleaning duties for offices, restrooms, meeting rooms, and other public areas. This duty is performed daily.
2. Fills in during absences of the Customer Service representative. This duty is performed as needed.
3. Notifies the Supervisor when cleaning supplies and paper products need to be reordered. This duty is performed as needed.
4. Performs minor plumbing and other routine facility maintenance. This duty is performed as needed.
5. Notifies supervisor when maintenance problems are of a technical nature. This duty is performed as needed.
6. Removes trash, cleans windows, picks up litter in the outside areas, and performs other duties as assigned. This duty is performed daily.
7. Set up for events in the training rooms. This duty is performed as needed.
9. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements
~1 min readTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Mental alertness and adaptability to office and field area work routines. Equivalent to four years high school or GED, with particular emphasis during high school in office skills, shop skills, or others, plus 0 to 6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers. Ability to perform these mathematical skills using money and other forms of measurement.
Ability to use common sense understanding in order to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few known variables in situations of a routine nature.
