This role sits at the centre of delivering large-scale transformation programmes while driving business growth across the Mining & Metals sector in Latin America.
You will lead client engagements end-to-end, combining business development, strategic advisory, and delivery leadership. Working closely with senior executives, you will help clients address critical operational challenges while expanding dss+’s market presence and client relationships across the region.

You will lead the delivery of transformation programmes across Mining & Metals clients while helping grow our business throughout Latin America.
You will oversee complex consulting engagements, build lasting client relationships, and identify opportunities to deliver measurable improvements across operational risk, operational excellence, asset management, sustainability, and digital transformation.
Lead consulting teams and manage delivery across large-scale transformation programmes
Build trusted advisor relationships with C-level executives and senior client stakeholders
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for the Mining & Metals sector across Latin America
Drive business development activities, including opportunity identification, proposal development, and closing consulting engagements
Identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding existing client relationships
Structure project objectives, deliverables, resources, and implementation plans in collaboration with consulting teams
Engage executive stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful implementation of solutions
Anticipate project risks and challenges, ensuring proactive mitigation and effective governance
Support account growth through strategic relationship management and client engagement
Maintain active involvement in project delivery to ensure quality, impact, and client satisfaction

You bring strong analytical thinking, commercial acumen, and the ability to operate effectively in complex, high-impact environments. You are comfortable developing client relationships, leading teams, and driving measurable business results.
Proven experience in management consulting and/or Mining & Metals environments
Proven track record selling strategic and operational consulting services to C-level executives
Strong experience in prospecting, developing, and closing new business opportunities, while expanding existing client accounts
Demonstrated ability to lead complex negotiations and secure large-scale consulting engagements
Experience selling and delivering strategic solutions within the Mining & Metals sector across Latin America
Deep understanding of industry trends, operational challenges, and business models
Experience supporting operational risk, operational excellence, supply chain optimisation, digital transformation, asset management, and sustainability initiatives
Proven experience managing complex transformation programmes and consulting engagements
Strong leadership and stakeholder management capability
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams
Strategic and consultative mindset, capable of leading executive-level discussions and influencing decision-making
Strong commercial awareness and business development capability
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and project teams in fast-paced environments
Leadership and collaboration skills, with experience working across multicultural and cross-functional teams
Strong problem-solving capability and focus on delivering measurable client impact
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred
Advanced English required
Advanced Spanish required
Additional languages beneficial
Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50%) across Latin America
