Dunedin Social Club - Site Manager - Full Time

We are looking for a strong leader who can ensure that our team is valued and motivated, our customers are happy and want to return and the business striving to improve.

The Pay & Role

$90,000 - $120,000 salary per year depending on experience

This is a permanent Full-Time senior position within our company, Tuesday to Saturday working week of 45 hrs per week.

Skills / Experience / What we are looking for:

• You have at least 3 years experience managing a high-volume, vibrant venue
• You are familiar working with bands and/or DJs and know how to create an awesome atmosphere
• You are energised by the buzz of busy nights, thrive during peak shifts, and are driven to keep the good times rolling while maximising sales and customer satisfaction
• Experience in managing a team on shift with at least 10 staff working at once on a busy night you will be managing a busy kitchen, bar, floor and security team
• Excellent presentation and strong clear communication
• A managers certificate is required
• You're looking for a long term career in hospitality
• A relevant qualification at Level 2 or above of the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework (NZQCF); or at least 2 years of relevant experience

You will:

• Ensure the environment within the site is always top notch
• Make sure quality of products, plus waiting times exceed expectation
• Take responsibility for daily/ weekly procedures including ordering, receiving
• Lead your team, provide feedback and set a high example by always operating above the line to make sure the standards are always super high
