Responsibilities

The IT Manager is responsible for the performance, security, reliability, and continuous improvement of the Company's information technology environment. This position is the functional owner of IT operations, cybersecurity coordination, technology planning, vendor management, and end-user support services. This position is accountable for departmental performance and is expected to independently prioritize work, execute technology initiatives, manage resources, and provide leadership with recommendations and escalation only when matters exceed established authority or present material business risk.

  • Independently manage routine IT operations, technology implementations, vendor relationships, user support activities, and cybersecurity compliance requirements. Escalate matters involving significant operational disruption, cybersecurity incidents, substantial financial impact, legal exposure, or other material business risks.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement technology solutions that improve operational efficiency, automate business processes, and support corporate growth objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve IT policies, procedures, standards, and documentation to support operational consistency, cybersecurity compliance, and organizational growth.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute the Company's IT strategy and technology roadmap, prioritizing initiatives that improve security, scalability, operational efficiency, and business performance.
  • Own the management and performance of third-party IT service providers, including service delivery oversight, escalation management, contract performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead the Company's cybersecurity and information assurance activities in coordination with the Facility Security Officer and external service providers, including vulnerability management, incident response readiness, system hardening, access control governance, and compliance activities.
  • Establish departmental priorities, allocate resources, and manage workload distribution to ensure effective delivery of IT services and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop IT personnel, including workload management, quality assurance, performance feedback, professional development, and delegation of responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and 8+ years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 4-5 years of progressive experience in information technology administration, infrastructure management, cybersecurity operations, or related functions, including experience leading projects, initiatives, or personnel.
  • Demonstrated experience managing technology initiatives, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and driving projects from planning through implementation.
  • Experience managing or coordinating third-party managed service providers, consultants, or technology vendors.
  • Experience supporting NIST 800-171, CMMC, DFARS 252.204-7012, or other government cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
  • ntermediate-to-advanced knowledge of Windows environments, Office365 administration, DNS, and Exchange Online.
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, MDM solutions, and SaaS provisioning.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, including remote support capabilities.
  • Experience supporting and maintaining secure networks and working in DoD-compliant environments.
  • Excellent communication skills—capable of translating technical terms for both technical and non-technical users.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain at least a SECRET security clearance.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • CompTIA A+ certification and CompTIA Network+ certification.
  • Experience administering Microsoft Intune.
  • Experience in small-to-mid-size government contracting environment.
  • Familiarity with eDiscovery processes and tooling.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Secrutiy Clearance
