Software Development Engineer - UI (Angular)

Job Summary: Seeking a skilled UI Developer with strong experience in Angular (v16+) to build scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript, and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive user experiences while contributing to key UI architecture and design decisions. 

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, scalable, and high-quality UI applications using Angular (v16+).
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, reusable front-end components.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Optimize applications for performance, speed, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with backend, QA, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex UI issues and production defects.
• Follow best practices in coding standards, security, testing, and documentation.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical support, reviews, and knowledge-sharing.
• Stay updated with the latest Angular and front-end development trends and technologies.

• 3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in UI development.
• Minimum - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering
• Strong expertise in Angular 16 or above (modules, components, directives, pipes, RxJS, state management, routing, lifecycle hooks, etc.).
• Solid proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Experience developing REST-based front-end integrations.
• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and responsive design frameworks.
• Experience with Unit Testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Jest, or similar).
• Familiarity with Git / version control workflows.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Proven experience in knowledge sharing or mentoring junior engineers.

• Experience with Micro-frontend architecture.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and build tools (Webpack, NPM, etc.).
• Knowledge of performance tuning and web accessibility (WCAG).
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
• Experience in docker
