Responsibilities

Understanding OSHA regulations and assisting in maintaining compliance in all areas

Maintaining a general understanding and awareness of all machinery in operational, mechanical, and safety aspects
→
Developing and enforcing Occupational Safety Policies
→
Directing accident investigation procedures
→
Keeping records of safety data
→
Intervening in unsafe activities or operations
→
Conducting safety training for all plant employees
→
Setting a good example regarding safety and all other plant policies
→
Other duties as assigned

This is an on-site position. This is a safety sensitive position.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Willingness to work and be on time when scheduled
Ability to read, write and speak English
Strong work ethic and eye for detail
Exemplary safety record (with previous employer)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Basic computer skills

Qualified candidates for this position will be required to successfully complete the background check.

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
