We are looking for a hands-on Fiberglass Production Laborer to join our shop team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in general labor, fiberglass work, manufacturing, construction, scenic production, or fabrication—or for those who want to learn these skills on the job.

Key Responsibilities

This is a hands-on, physical role, working on a collaborative shop team that supports fiberglass production and finishing.

Daily tasks may include:

  •   Using hand tools and power tools (drills, saws, grinders, tape measures, etc.)
  •   Assisting with fiberglass layup, trimming, sanding, and finishing work
  •   Cleaning, preparing, and organizing work areas and equipment
  •   Moving materials and finished pieces safely throughout the shop
  •   Operating or training to operate a forklift (certification training provided)
  •   Following all safety procedures and wearing proper PPE


Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to use basic hand tools
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Willingness to learn new techniques and work as part of a team

Preferred:

  • Experience in
    fiberglass, construction, manufacturing, scenic fabrication, carpentry, or similar hands-on work
  • Ability to read basic blueprints or shop drawings
  • Forklift experience (or interest in learning)

    Physical Requirements

    • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting
    • Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs. to waist height, 90 lbs. to chest height, and 25 lbs. overhead
    • Ability to push, pull, or carry heavy materials and equipment as needed



    Work Environment

    Indoor production shop with exposure to resin, dust, etc.; standard shop noise. PPE and safety protocols provided.
