COST of Wisconsin, Inc. builds award‑winning themed environments for zoos, theme parks, resorts, aquariums, entertainment destinations, golf courses, and other venues. We are excited to add to our traveling field team!


As our Site Superintendent, you will lead field crews, ensure safety and quality, and keep unique construction projects on schedule. Aspects of our projects could include grading, reinforcing steel and structure, concrete application, machine operation, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and sculpting.



What You’ll Do

  • Supervise and support crews of up to ~20 people
  • Coordinate daily work, materials, and equipment; use light equipment
  • Communicate with project managers, directors, inspectors, and other internal and external partners
  • Inspect work for quality, accuracy, and deadlines
  • Manage documentation, reporting, and timecards
  • Oversee shotcrete operations, equipment readiness, and quality control (as applicable, depending on project)
  • Enforce safety policies and assist with managing any incidents



What You Bring

  • 3 or more years of directly related construction experience; field supervision in commercial construction preferred
  • Experience coordinating with project managers, general contractors, and subcontractors 
  • High school diploma; related associate degree is definitely a plus
  • Willingness to learn and teach
  • OSHA‑10 required; OSHA‑30 training is provided as needed
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT card
  • Blueprint reading and strong construction knowledge (rockwork, steel, grading, etc.)
  • Preferred:  shotcrete or themed‑construction experience; nozzleman certified
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, teambuilding, safety focus, and problem‑solving skills



Work Environment

  • Travel to project sites across the U.S. (company‑paid travel, lodging, and fuel)
  • Work at construction sites, primarily outdoors
  • Work overtime as required
  • Physical requirements include lifting up to 100 lbs., carrying, pushing, bending, standing, walking, and climbing
