The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counites is seeking an Information Technology Assistant to provide technical support across our organization. In this role, you'll help keep our technology systems running smoothly by supporting staff, troubleshooting equipment and software, maintaining user accounts, and assisting with network and cybersecurity needs.

Responsibilities
~1 min readAs an Information Technology Assistant, you'll help keep CPARC's technology systems running smoothly by troubleshooting and repairing computers, laptops, printers, software, peripherals, and other IT equipment. You'll provide onsite and remote technical support, monitor and respond to help desk requests, and configure, deploy, update, and maintain user systems and applications. You'll also manage user, email, and remote access accounts; perform routine network and system checks; coordinate with vendors; maintain IT equipment inventory; and troubleshoot biometric time clocks and related systems. You'll provide technical guidance to staff while following all cybersecurity, privacy, confidentiality, and security requirements.
We're looking for a dependable, tech-savvy problem solver with strong troubleshooting and communication skills. Candidates should have an Associate degree in Computer Science or a related field, or two years of information systems experience. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and current third-party software; understand basic client/server concepts; and have experience installing and maintaining hardware, software, and peripherals. Candidates must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds and bending, kneeling, and crawling to access equipment. A valid Pennsylvania driver's license and safe driving record are required.
