 JOB SUMMARY
Working under the guidance of the SharePoint Administrator, this role helps employees resolve issues, maintains organised and accessible content, and supports secure collaboration. The position offers practical development in SharePoint administration and broader enterprise application support.

Responsibilities

  • →Provide first-line support for SharePoint, SAP Business One, and other business applications, resolving routine user issues and escalating complex matters as required.
  • →Administer and maintain SharePoint sites, pages, document libraries, lists, metadata, navigation, permissions, and user access in accordance with established standards and governance.
  • →Support system users by processing access requests, investigating issues, performing application testing, maintaining documentation, and communicating system changes and releases.
  • →Assist with SharePoint content management activities, including document migrations, site improvements, content reviews, and support for forms, workflows, and Power Platform solutions.
  • →Deliver user guidance, training, and knowledge resources to promote effective use of business systems and applications.
  • →Manage incidents and service requests through the service desk system, ensuring timely resolution, accurate record keeping, and regular communication with users.
  • →Maintain troubleshooting records, support documentation, and knowledge articles to support efficient service delivery and knowledge sharing.
  • →Ensure compliance with organisational security, privacy, access control, and change management procedures.
  • →Collaborate with application specialists, administrators, vendors, site owners, and business stakeholders to support business operations and resolve issues effectively.
  • →Monitor recurring issues and recommend improvements to systems, processes, support procedures, and the overall user experience.
  • →Work to agreed service levels, proactively identifying risks and escalating issues where necessary to maintain service performance.

Requirements

  • Relevant IT qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent practical experience, with experience in IT support, application support, SharePoint administration, or a similar technology support role.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, including sites, document libraries, lists, permissions, and collaboration tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather information, follow procedures, determine when escalation is required, and support issue resolution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused approach and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple support requests effectively.
  • Experience using service desk or ticketing systems and maintaining accurate support documentation, user guides, or knowledge articles.
  • Awareness of SharePoint Online administration, Microsoft Teams, Power Automate, Power Apps, or other Microsoft business applications.
  • Understanding of business application and ERP processes; familiarity with SAP Business One is advantageous but not essential.
  • Basic knowledge of PowerShell, SQL, reporting tools, or similar technologies used to support troubleshooting and system administration is desirable.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies, systems, and business applications, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
