Join Our Dynamic Team as an Expat Credit Analyst! Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for mitigating credit risk and optimizing financial performance? We have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Analyst to join our team in Sierra Leone. In this critical role, you will play a key part in safeguarding the company from potential credit losses while driving insightful analysis and decision-making across the business. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough credit reviews and prepare comprehensive credit proposals for local and international vendors. Analyze financial data and market trends to identify potential credit opportunities and risks. Monitor compliance with established credit policies and limits, ensuring alignment with company standards. Prepare and present weekly and monthly credit exposure reports to senior management. Support the management and mitigation of credit risks through tools such as credit insurance. Assist in the development and review of credit risk-related policies and procedures. Perform due diligence (KYC) on counterparties, including suppliers, customers, warehouses, and shipping companies. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in credit risk management, ideally within a trading house or banking environment. Solid understanding of commodity business and transaction processes. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and thrive under pressure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
