Repair Specialist

The Repair Specialist will perform Testing, Evaluations & Repairs on Flashpoint and Godox lights and strobes. They will be expected to have prior experience working with electronic systems (strobe and lighting systems preferred). Ability to perform basic soldering and multimeter testing are required. 

Technician will be expected to perform accurate & timely diagnostics of lighting equipment for estimates and repair. Most repairs consist of board or part replacement. Experience at component level repair & micro-soldering would be a plus, but not required. 

Technicians will be expected to utilize our existing system to maintain an accurate inventory of repair parts, including use forecasting and reordering. They must be willing to learn and streamline repair processes for new lights and strobes as they are released.  

Basic Qualifications 

• Mechanical and electrical repair or assembly experience 

• Ability to carry/lift up to 50 lbs 

• Demonstrate a proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations 

• Familiar with common business applications (e.g. MS Office/Sharepoint) 

• Exceptional attention to detail and exemplary organizational skills 

• Teamwork and communication skills. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Prior experience with use of photographic lighting systems (continuous or strobe) 

• Experience repairing or modifying other types of lighting, photography and videography gear 

• Basic knowledge of Lion and Lipo battery maintenance and repair.
