Assistant Waiter

Responsibilities:

- Assist with the set-up and preparation of tables for service onboard a cruise ship

- Greet guests and escort them to their tables

- Take orders and deliver food and beverages to guests

- Ensure tables are properly cleared and reset for the next guests

- Provide excellent customer service and attend to any guest requests or concerns

- Work closely with the wait staff to provide a seamless dining experience for guests

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining areas

- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Head Waiter or Restaurant Manager

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- A positive and friendly attitude

- Team player with a strong work ethic

- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

- Fluency in English is required, additional languages are a plus

- Must be able to obtain necessary visas and travel documents
