The Global Litigation Paralegal role has been crafted to reinforce the firm's mission of providing exceptional support in high-stakes personal injury cases. By effectively managing a substantial caseload, this position ensures trial readiness and reduces the operational burden on attorneys. Your contributions will directly influence the firm’s ability to deliver justice for its clients through meticulous preparation and strategic litigation support.

 

Responsibilities

  • Case Analysis & Strategy: Review and analyze case files to support litigation strategy, including evaluating whether cases should be settled or litigated based on facts, damages, and insurance dynamics.
  • Document Drafting & Review: Draft and refine legal documents including summonses, complaints, discovery responses, motions, and bills of particulars using firm templates and AI-generated drafts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and strategic alignment.
  • Discovery & Case Progression: Manage the discovery process, including drafting responses, reviewing demands, coordinating post-deposition follow-ups, and proactively identifying gaps in evidence or case development.
  • Trial Preparation: Prepare subpoenas, trial notebooks, and supporting documentation. Coordinate with clients, medical providers, and expert witnesses to ensure full trial readiness.
  • Case Ownership & Execution: Track and manage assigned cases across the litigation lifecycle, ensuring timely progress, meeting deadlines, and delivering high-quality work efficiently.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with clients and third parties to gather critical information, clarify case details, and support ongoing case development.
  • Licensed Attorney: Must be a licensed or qualified attorney in your home country.
  • Litigation Experience: 3–5+ years of litigation experience, preferably supporting U.S.-based law firms, with personal injury experience strongly preferred.
  • Legal Drafting Skills: Proven ability to draft and refine legal documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Litigation Mindset: Ability to think like a litigator, not just execute tasks. You understand case strategy, can interpret legal objectives, and adapt templates accordingly.
  • Extreme Attention to Detail: You catch what others miss. Precision is critical, especially in high-stakes litigation.
  • Organizational & Workflow Management: Ability to manage a high volume of cases while maintaining structure, clarity, and timely execution.
  • Proactive Ownership: You are self-sufficient, ask the right questions, and take initiative to move work forward without constant oversight.
  • Communication Proficiency: Fluent in English; Spanish bilingual is preferred.
