Senior Business Manager - National Private Equity Practice
Quick Summary
From the beginning, our goal was to establish an advisory firm that stands apart from the rest – one that is grounded in our Core Values and dedicated to creating a positive experience not just for our clients, but for our people too.
You will apply your strategic and analytical skills as Chief of Staff to the National Private Equity Practice Leader (PL). You will partner with senior leadership to develop and drive strategy and operational processes. This role will be a balance between operations, project and process management, change management, execution, and strategy, and will be responsible for enabling leadership to be as effective as possible in driving the strategy for the PE Practice. You should be passionate about business strategy, management, operations, and people. This is an ideal opportunity to grow in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
The central dimension of this role is serving as a fully aligned strategic partner to the Private Equity PL. The PL builds — you run. Your success is measured by the PL’s ability to say they cannot operate effectively without your partnership.
- PL Capacity Extender: Leverage the PL to be in the market by keeping the engine running and all wheels turning in the same direction. Drive and support strategic initiatives specific to the PE practice, coordinate with and support Local Service Line Leaders (LSLLs), and own weekly, monthly, and quarterly agendas, materials, and facilitation for various audiences.
- Workforce Management: Connect the dots between staffing, recruiting, finance, and pipeline to drive workforce efficiency. Translate what the market is demanding into hiring decisions in a meaningful and timely way.
- Feedback Loop with Marketing & BD: Help maintain the connective tissue between Marketing and the PE practice. Drive conversation to share market observations and align on communications and marketing activations.
- FP&A Partnership: Accelerate the maturity of the FP&A model for the PE practice, enabling the PL to fully shift from backward-looking reviews to truly using data to drive decisions.
As a result, you will support revenue growth, cost of sales control, and margin protection for the National PE Practice.
