About the Role
~1 min readAs a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer supporting Crusoe's modular data center platform, you will own the control system deliverables for major systems inside the modules we manufacture. Modular is how Crusoe compresses the timeline from steel to compute, and that speed only holds when the controls package is repeatable, verified in the factory, and correct the first time it lands in the field. You will independently produce and defend the point lists, instrument schedules, and control system drawings for your assigned systems, then prove them out through factory acceptance testing before a module ships.
This role sits at the point where design intent meets manufactured hardware. You will move between the design desk and the factory floor, adapting standards to non-standard conditions, resolving equipment substitutions and installation deviations without waiting for direction, and making the judgment calls that keep a production line moving. Your deliverables become the reference that construction, commissioning, and operations teams build against, and you will mentor Engineer I and II teammates on the standards behind them. Denver is your home base, with estimated travel at 25% to manufacturing partners and deployment sites. This is a full-time position.
