The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment is seeking an individual to support faculty development in teaching and learning. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $6,288 to $7,658* monthly ($75,456 to $91,896 annually)

● Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in an appropriate, education-related discipline/field
● Five years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level
● Evidence of excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level
● Demonstrated interest in undergraduate education and professional development in pedagogy in higher education
● Certification or significant evidence of professional development and leadership in one or more recognized pedagogical approaches relevant to undergraduate education, such as Reading Apprenticeship, Culturally Responsive Teaching, Trauma-Informed Pedagogy, Mindfulness and Meditation, etc.
● Experience mentoring faculty on teaching and learning
● Ability to work effectively in a diverse, collegial, and consultative team environment.
● Ability to manage multiple tasks in a collaborative and transparent manner
● Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
● Ability to collaborate with other units/departments/programs
● Strong written and oral communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
● Ability to acquire and use existing and emerging technologies, skills, and tools

● Experience working with a teaching and learning center
● Experience in planning and leading faculty professional development and learning communities.
● Experience working effectively with faculty across disciplines and other college programs

● Strong intercultural communication skills and understanding of diversity and inclusion issues in higher education
● Event and long-range planning, marketing, and continuous improvement skills
● Evidence of collaboration with campus partners, community members, and members of local and national organizations.
● Demonstrated understanding and commitment to CSUMB’s Vision
