Weekend Material Handler

A Material Handler performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies.

• Shift: 12:30AM - 9:30PM, Saturday & Sundays
• Pay: $16.60 + 10% shift differential = $18.26

• →Executes foundational tasks within a warehouse environment including but not limited to: packaging, unpackaging, put away, sorting, staging, picking, shipping and preparing units for production.
• →Cut open boxed inventory in the storage area or on the rack.
• →Place open boxes on the appropriate shelf of the flow rack.
• →Walk the length of the flow rack.
• →Wrap cords neatly and securely, ensuring they are tangle-free.
• →Assist with labeling, tagging, or color-coding wrapped cords as needed for easy identification.
• →Consistently meet or surpass daily production and quality goals.
• →Complete required paperwork, forms, or digital records accurately and promptly for documentation purposes.
• →Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• →Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations.
• →All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.

• Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus
• Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience

• Warehouse environment
• Stand dynamically for long periods
• Use hands and fingers to handle and/or feel; the ability to type, pick, pinch with fingers, seize, hold, grasp or turn with hands
• Lift up to fifty (50) pounds
• Push and/or pull up to fifty (50) pounds
• Reach up and out with hands and arms
• Occasionally required to climb stairs or ladders
