Employment Opportunity :Temporary Human Resources Support - Immigration

 

Department: Human Resources

Employment Status: Fulltime (40 hour work week) for a 6 month term

Salary: CI$25.00 per hour

Overtime Eligibility: Yes

Work Environment: Corporate

Corporate – Workspace is primarily in the Administrative Building

In Field – Workspace is primarily Off Site at various locations around the island

Plant Area- Workspace is primarily in the Power Plant Area

Hybrid – Workspace is a combination of in the Administrative Building and in the Field or in the Plant Area

Satellite- Workspace is at one of CUC’s satellite locations

 

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

       Maintain and organize employee and contractor immigration records to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely renewals.

       Prepare, and track work permit applications, business visitor visas and exemptions.

       Liaise with hiring managers and department leads to gather contractor requirements, assignment details and supporting documentation.

       Coordinate payment requests for immigration related fees.

       Monitor work permit expiry dates and proactively coordinate renewals to ensure continued work authorization and compliance.

       Provide support to other Human Resource functions as required.

 

Requirements

Applicants should possess:

       Associates in Business or similar, with a focus on Human Resources

       Experience and knowledge of local immigration law

       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

       High attention to detail and accuracy

       Strong organization and time management skills
