Workplaces and fleet might operate behind the scenes, but when they work well, they make a real difference to how an organisation performs.

We’re looking for an Accommodation & Fleet Coordinator to help shape and deliver smart, safe and sustainable workplace and fleet solutions across the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) portfolio.

This is a varied role where no two days will necessarily look the same. You could be coordinating a workplace relocation, reviewing how office space is being used, working through a property or leasing issue, monitoring the performance of a service provider, analysing fleet data, or helping progress new approaches to fleet and electric vehicle initiatives.

If you enjoy solving operational problems, managing complex projects and bringing different stakeholders together to get things done, this could be the opportunity for you.

You’re someone who can see both the big picture and the practical detail needed to make things happen.

You’ll be comfortable navigating competing priorities, working across multiple locations and engaging with people who may have very different needs and perspectives. You can build credibility quickly, communicate complex information clearly and use evidence and sound judgement to recommend practical solutions.

You’ll bring demonstrated knowledge or experience across areas such as accommodation, facilities, property and/or fleet management, ideally within a large, multi-site or government environment. Experience leading complex projects and partnering with diverse stakeholders to implement operational or technology-enabled improvements will also be highly valued.

Knowledge of property leases and licences, fleet and electric vehicles, transport or other asset-intensive environments would position you well for the role.

• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline such as property development, fleet administration and/or project management.
• Current NSW Driver's licence and willingness to drive to locations which may include overnight stays.
