As a Manager, Ethics & Regulatory Compliance within the Ethics & Compliance branch , you'll lead ethics and regulatory compliance initiatives across the Department and its agencies, building practical systems, training and governance frameworks that help our people meet their obligations and manage risk with confidence.
Working with a wide range of stakeholders, you'll navigate complex and sensitive issues, coordinate reporting to oversight agencies, and drive improvements that make compliance easier to monitor and manage. You'll also lead ethics training and public interest disclosure programs, helping us work better together while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and accountability as required by the Public Interest Disclosures Act 2022. Additionally, you will play an important supporting role in the investigation into employee related misconduct and public interest disclosures.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Demonstrated experience reviewing, developing and implementing legislative and regulatory compliance policies, frameworks, standards and governance processes.
- →Proven project management experience in a legislative, compliance or regulatory environment, with the ability to deliver quality outcomes within competing priorities and timeframes.
- →Experience managing and coordinating public interest disclosures, workplace investigations or other sensitive integrity-related matters.
- →Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and navigate complex issues with confidence and professionalism.
- →Experience in developing and/or implementing training programs and presentations in the ethics or compliance space.
- →A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with a passion for strengthening ethics, improving compliance practices and fostering a positive speak-up culture.
