Maintenance Officer - Casual

As a Service Officer (Maintenance), you will help keep our Sport and Recreation Centres safe, well maintained and operating smoothly.

You will carry out general maintenance of buildings, grounds, equipment and facilities, assist with setting up venues and programs, and work closely with staff and contractors to support daily operations.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, solving problems and working as part of a team. Every day is different, with a variety of tasks that help deliver great experiences for our guests and visitors.

• Current Class C drivers licence 
• Obtain and maintain a Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012 
• Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment medical assessment prior to commencing duty and a hearing test (audiometric test) within 3 months of starting employment (baseline test) and a follow-up Hearing test at least every 2 years. 

To be eligible to apply for this position, you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident or hold a valid Australian working Visa for the duration of the appointment. 

Any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory National Police Check and Pre-Employment Health Assessment. You will also need to arrange a Working with Children Check, at your own expense.
