About the Opportunity
As a Risk Analyst at EnergyCo, you will play a key role in strengthening and embedding risk management practices across a complex and evolving organisation delivering critical energy infrastructure projects for NSW. Working closely with the Manager Risk, Governance, Risk and Compliance team members, project teams and business stakeholders, you will support the ongoing development of EnergyCo’s Risk Management Framework, risk profiles and business continuity arrangements. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to contribute to strategic and operational decision-making, enhance organisational resilience, and help drive the successful implementation of a new Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) platform. You'll gain exposure to enterprise and project risk management while helping ensure EnergyCo can confidently navigate emerging risks and opportunities in a dynamic environment.

About You
You are a proactive and analytical risk professional with experience in risk management assurance or a related discipline. You have strong data analysis, reporting and visualisation skills, with the ability to translate complex risk information into clear, meaningful insights for a broad range of stakeholders. Comfortable working across multiple priorities, you enjoy collaborating with business teams to identify risks, assess controls and support practical risk-based decision-making.

You will have experience working in a dynamic and complex environment where risks continuously evolve, with the ability to support an organisation in achieving its objectives while maintaining an appropriate balance between risk-taking and compliance.

You are an effective communicator who can build strong stakeholder relationships and explain risk concepts in clear, accessible language. Experience working with risk systems, or project risk management frameworks will be highly regarded. Most importantly, you bring a strong commitment to public sector values, including integrity, transparency, accountability and ethical decision-making, and are motivated to contribute to EnergyCo's mission by helping build a resilient and risk-aware organisation.
