Summary/Objective:
The Slip Sheet Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently loading, unloading, and moving product using a forklift equipped with a slip sheet attachment. This position supports warehouse operations by ensuring accurate handling of customer freight, maintaining inventory integrity, and meeting productivity and safety standards in a fast-paced third-party logistics (3PL) environment.

Essential Functions:

Operate forklifts equipped with slip sheet push-pull attachments to load, unload, and transport products.
Handle freight utilizing slip sheets in place of traditional pallets.
Load and unload trailers while maintaining product quality and minimizing damage.
Verify product quantities, lot numbers, and shipping documentation for accuracy.
Perform inventory movements and replenishments within the warehouse management system (WMS).
Stage, organize, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and customer-specific requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and warehouse standards.
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory activities as needed.
Collaborate with warehouse associates, supervisors, and quality personnel to ensure operational efficiency.
Meet productivity, accuracy, and attendance expectations.
Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
Minimum 1 year of experience operating a forklift with a slip sheet (push-pull) attachment
Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred.

Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices.
Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, bills of lading, and inventory records.
Basic math and inventory counting skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals.

Physical Requirements

Frequently stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout the shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions.
Ability to sit and operate material handling equipment for extended periods.
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules as business needs require.

Compensation
$22.00-$25.00
