The Security Support Specialist (SSS) - Programs is responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, and coordination of the company's physical security programs, including contract security guard services, off-duty officer programs, vendor management, reporting, and program governance. The role assists the Director - Security, Security Programs Lead, and Security Team with store and corporate physical security operations, including vendor management, security guard administration, budgeting and invoice management, program auditing, incident tracking, and administrative support.

This role serves as a key support resource for security vendors, field operations, and internal business partners to help ensure security programs are delivered consistently, effectively, and in alignment with company standards. The role will work with Operations, Legal, Risk Management, Finance, Law Enforcement, security personnel, stores, and external service providers on a wide range of security topics.


Responsibilities

  • →Support the daily administration and coordination of the company's contract security guard and off-duty officer programs.
  • →Be a first responder to store, operations, and corporate security program needs.
  • →Provide administrative support for security vendors, security officers, and assigned security programs.
  • →Assist in providing premium, cost-effective security services and programs.
  • →Act as a liaison between security vendors and field operations.
  • →Assist with security guard deployment, post coverage requests, staffing issues, and service-related concerns.
  • →Assist in monitoring vendor performance, service levels, and contract compliance.
  • →Support invoice processing, billing reviews, and expense management for security programs and services.
  • →Assist in researching billing discrepancies, service issues, and vendor-related concerns.
  • →Maintain security program records, documentation, reporting, and tracking tools.
  • →Assist with audits and reviews of security vendor performance, staffing coverage, and program effectiveness.
  • →Support the implementation of security plans as necessary, including emergency response, crisis management, workplace violence prevention, and incident management initiatives.
  • →Compile operational, financial, and performance data for reporting to Security and Operations leadership.
  • →Provide support in response to robberies, burglaries, security guard deployments, and other security-related needs.
  • →Assist Legal, Risk Management, and Operations partners as necessary.
  • →Develop and maintain working relationships with security vendors, off-duty officer agencies, law enforcement, and internal business partners.
  • →Gain and maintain knowledge of industry trends, current security issues, and security program best practices.
  • →Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • College/Technical degree/certificate desired or a minimum of 2 years applicable experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Requires strong multitasking, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Demonstrated exposure to physical security operations, security programs, vendor management, or asset protection functions.
  • Experience working with service providers, contracts, invoicing, reporting, or program administration highly regarded.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
