Associate Scientist - Purification Process Development

Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and gene therapy, is looking for an Associate Scientist, Purification Process Development based in Oceanside, CA. Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension) Pay Rate : $45/hr on W2 Company Benefits: Medical, Paid Sick leave, 401K Seeking an Associate Scientist to support purification process development, characterization, scale-up, and technology transfer for biologics in pivotal and commercial development. The role involves hands-on laboratory work, process optimization, GMP manufacturing support, and collaboration with internal and external partners. Key Responsibilities Design and execute purification process development and characterization studies. Support process scale-up, technology transfer, and implementation at internal and external GMP manufacturing facilities. Develop and document experimental protocols, reports, and electronic laboratory records. Required Qualifications MS + 2 years or BS + 4 years of relevant experience in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or related discipline. Strong hands-on experience with biologics purification process development. Preferred Technical Skills Chromatography and AKTA/UNICORN Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF), Normal Flow Filtration (NFF) Centrifugation, High-throughput purification screening, Virus inactivation/removal Process scale-up and GMP technology transfer Design of Experiments (DoE), statistics, and data analysis If interested, please share your updated resume at hr@dawarconsulting.com/akansha@dawarconsulting.com
