Hard Rock Hotel - Senior Marketing Executive

Hard Rock Hotel Malta is looking for a commercially driven Senior Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team, with a key focus on wellness marketing for Body Rock® Fitness Centre and Rock Spa®, part of Malta’s largest wellness facility spanning over 3,800 sqm.

This role will also support the wider marketing activities of Hard Rock Hotel Malta, including partnership offers, packages, CRM and email marketing initiatives.

We are looking for a proactive marketer who understands that successful marketing goes beyond impressions and reach. You will be expected to develop and execute initiatives that generate measurable results, drive memberships, bookings, and revenue, and strengthen the positioning of our wellness brands.

Your Mission

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will act as the main marketing liaison for Body Rock and Rock Spa, supporting the planning and end-to-end execution of commercial marketing initiatives.

You will drive campaigns promoting gym memberships, fitness classes, spa treatments, and wellness experiences, while also supporting hotel partnerships and packages aimed at generating reservations and revenue across the wider property.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute commercially focused marketing initiatives for Body Rock and Rock Spa across digital, social media, PR, influencer, CRM/email, paid advertising, events, and other relevant channels.
• Drive measurable revenue through gym memberships, fitness classes, spa treatments, and wellness packages.
• Support the development and management of partnerships with companies, brands, associations, embassies, and other organizations to promote wellness memberships, restaurant reservations, and hotel offers.
• Monitor campaign performance, conversion rates, PPC, CRM/email activity, and competitor activity, providing clear reporting on results and ROI.
• Manage wellness marketing channels and website updates while ensuring content remains engaging, accurate, and aligned with each brand's identity.
• Develop and coordinate social media content, including Instagram and other relevant platforms.
• Support the planning, execution, and reporting of the gym and spa marketing activation calendar.
• Coordinate on-site photography and video shoots to create high-quality content showcasing the wellness facilities and experiences.
• Ensure marketing activity remains compliant with Hard Rock International brand standards.
• Support the Director of Marketing with wider hotel campaigns, partnership initiatives, design requests, and other projects according to business needs.
  
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a commercial marketing role, preferably within hospitality, wellness, fitness, spa or a related industry.
• Demonstrable experience in marketing campaigns that have delivered measurable commercial results.
• Previous exposure to gym, fitness, spa, or wellness marketing is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, paid advertising, CRM/email marketing, and campaign performance.
• Experience in social media content creation and management.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to connect marketing activity to revenue and ROI.
• Proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to identify opportunities and take ownership of initiatives.
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Experience with Canva, Adobe, or similar creative tools will be considered an asset.
• Experience in agency and budget management will also be considered an asset.
