About the Role
~1 min readThis is an exciting opportunity to combine your exceptional administrative expertise with meaningful work that supports rural medical education.
As the Senior Administrative Officer, Selection and Placements, you will coordinate a range of critical student and program administration activities, including admissions, enrolments, assessments, clinical placements and academic progress. You'll work closely with students, academics, clinicians and external parties to ensure programs are delivered efficiently, compliantly and in line with University and regulatory requirements.
You'll also provide secretariat, governance and operational support, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and play an important role in the success of the Rural Training Stream of the Doctor of Medicine program.
- Coordinate and deliver key administrative activities that support rural medical education programs and student success.
- Analyse information, identify issues and provide recommendations to support informed decision-making.
- Manage complex processes, resolve challenges and implement practical solutions.
- Build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and provide high-quality customer service.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance services, systems and outcomes.

You will bring:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in administration, professional services or a related field.
- Experience providing professional advice and delivering outcomes in a complex organisational environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- An understanding of governance, compliance and policy frameworks, with the ability to apply them in practice.
