As a Customer Relation Center Advisor, your mission is to ensure every customer interaction—whether through chat, email, or calls—is handled with efficiency, empathy, and expertise. You will be the first point of contact, providing timely and accurate solutions while making each customer feel valued and heard.

Beyond addressing inquiries, you will take ownership of concerns such as returns and refunds, ensuring a smooth resolution that reinforces trust in our brand. You will also adapt to various tasks as needed, supporting the team with ad hoc responsibilities that contribute to operational excellence (e.g. returns, refund, replacements, warranty, product inquiry, product availability, membership concerns and rewards, etc.) depending on the requirement of the country.

By staying proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, you will help create seamless experiences that not only solve problems but also strengthen customer relationships. Responsibilities

Deliver a Best-In-Class Customer Support

  • Engage and answer all customers' inquiries through chat, email, and calls, providing clear, helpful, and timely responses to their questions and concerns.

  • Address customer issues, whether related to product information, order status, or account inquiries, ensuring accurate and efficient solutions that enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Accurately log all customer communications, inquiries, and resolutions in the system to ensure proper tracking and continuity of service.

  • Assist customers with product details, order status, policies, and other relevant information to ensure they have the knowledge they need to make informed decisions.

  • Ensure all customer interactions are handled with professionalism, empathy, and courtesy, fostering positive relationships and trust with the brand.

  • Leverage available tools and knowledge bases to efficiently resolve inquiries, ensuring quick response times and high-quality support across all channels.

This is a part-time position normally requiring 32 hours per week, 4 full days a week, which may include weekends and public holidays.

  • Product Knowledge: Deep knowledge of Decathlon’s sports catalog to passionately guide users to the right gear. 

  • Omnichannel Sport Advisory: Strong written and verbal communication skills used to deliver empathetic customer support and expert product guidance across chat, email, and phone.

  • Digital Systems & Data Management: Proficient in navigating retail platforms, CRM tools, and ticketing systems with speed and accuracy to document interactions seamlessly.

  • Problem-Solving & Resolution: Efficient at troubleshooting order, delivery, and service issues to turn unexpected hurdles into positive user experiences.

  • Security, Compliance & Analytics: Committed to safeguarding customer data privacy while tracking support metrics to help drive service improvements.

  • Empathetic & Active Communication: Strong active listening and communication skills to build authentic, empathetic connections with sports enthusiasts.
