Role Overview

The Fund Accountant is responsible for executing core fund accounting workflows accurately and consistently across a defined set of venture funds. This role is ideal for someone who values precision, structure, and ownership — and wants to build deep expertise in how venture capital funds operate at scale.

You’ll work within established processes and under review while gaining hands-on exposure to fund structures, capital activity, and reporting across a broad portfolio of venture funds, contributing to a platform that supports thousands of emerging managers.

Execute day-to-day fund accounting tasks, including transaction booking, allocations, and capital activity

Maintain accurate general ledger records across assigned funds

Prepare periodic financial statements and supporting schedules

Support capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting processes

Assist with audit and tax preparation through clean, well-organized workpapers

Follow documented processes and controls consistently

Surface questions or discrepancies promptly to senior team members

Core Requirements

2–4+ years of experience in fund accounting, accounting, or fund administration

Familiarity with venture capital or private equity fund structures

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage recurring deadlines across multiple funds
