We have both an economic and environmental responsibility to adapt and lead. Continuing to support the communities in which we build with over 500 employees and the industry’s largest fleet of equipment, Condrain’s solutions encompass the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario. We extend to people the same care, understanding and respect we show the environment. Business is led with an unwavering commitment to transparency. This allows us to be ethically sound, dutiful and adaptable, to the needs of our environment and our communities.

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Lube Technician to perform preventative maintenance on our heavy equipment fleet, including Caterpillar, Komatsu and other construction equipment. This position involves servicing equipment in the shop and at job sites, along with operating a mobile service/lube truck.

  • Change engine oil and replace oil, fuel, air and hydraulic filters according to equipment maintenance schedules.
  • Check and service fluid levels, including hydraulic systems, transmissions, final drives and cooling systems.
  • Grease equipment and complete routine lubrication.
  • Inspect equipment during servicing and report leaks, damage, excessive wear or other maintenance concerns.
  • Record completed services, machine hours, and the fluids and filters used.
  • Keep the service truck stocked, organized and clean.
  • Safely operate the service truck and complete required vehicle inspections.
  • Follow safe servicing procedures and properly handle used oil, filters and other waste.

Qualifications

  • Valid Ontario DZ driver’s licence and an acceptable driver’s abstract.
  • Previous experience performing oil changes, lubrication and routine maintenance on heavy equipment or similar machinery.
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment is an asset.
  • Ability to identify and use the correct oils, filters and lubricants for each machine.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to work outdoors and travel between job sites.
  • Commitment to safe work practices and taking care of equipment.
