Deputy West Finance Director

• →Raising major donor funds through call time, events, donor meetings, and finance trips.
• →Identifying event hosts and supporting them through the execution of major donor fundraising events within the region.
• →Actively raising toward finance events within the region and managing event trackers from inception to completion.
• →Providing support for the execution of travel in the region including scheduling donor meetings for principals, creating and editing briefing memos, and preparing other materials as needed.
• →Assisting the Regional Finance Director in maintaining donor relationships.
• →Performing donor research to identify prospective major donors and raisers all while working to re-engage lapsed donors.
• →Creating and managing a Regional Finance Committee to engage donors within the region.
• →Creating and managing a finance email program to keep major donors informed and engaged.
• →Providing support to the Regional Finance Director as needed.
• →Other duties as assigned to support the department and the DNC's mission.

• Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• 3-4 years of related work experience.
• Detail oriented and proficient in Excel.
• Working knowledge of NGP database.
• Experience working on campaign or political committee finance teams for 1-2 cycles preferred.
• Some travel required.
