Whey Operations Technician

5 Days per Week

• →Operate and monitor bagging equipment
• →Notify lead person of any irregularities in equipment or product
• →Perform quality control checks as required
• →Complete scanning to the inventory management system
• →Assist co-worker to maintain a smooth flow of packaged product
• →Check for accurate product coding and labeling
• →Maintain accurate and orderly production logs
• →Maintain a safe and clean work area
• →Assist in other production areas as required
• →Palletize (stack) finished whey products as per procedures
• →Perform forklift safety check before operating forklift and inform supervisor of machine defects
• →Operate forklift in a safe manner
• →Enter production data into SAP inventory system
• →Assist in training of new personnel
• →Minimize water usage and the generation of wastewater within the scope of the position
• →Follow all DFA GMP’s and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory quality and sanitation requirements
• →Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures

• Ability to use commercial English, grammar and arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, including decimals and fractions
• Previous forklift experience preferred
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
