We are excited to be looking for an experienced Trade Compliance Manager – EMEA to lead the transformation of our regional trade compliance program. This is a high‑impact role where you’ll build and scale compliant, efficient processes across the region while helping modernise how we manage global trade.

Responsibilities
~1 min readAs our regional subject matter expert for trade compliance, you’ll lead the development and execution of the EMEA trade compliance roadmap, ensuring the region operates in line with global strategy while supporting business growth.
You’ll play a central role in strengthening and standardising trade compliance processes, while leading the regional implementation and adoption of our Global Trade Management (GTM) system.
This position comes at an exciting time for Hologic. You’ll help move the region toward a scalable, systems‑enabled model that supports Hologic’s continued growth.
You’ll also lead a small team and work closely with global trade compliance leadership, playing a key role in shaping the future of the function.
Responsibilities
~1 min readLeading the development and execution of the EMEA trade compliance strategy, aligning regional execution with global policy and priorities
Driving the implementation and optimisation of Global Trade Management systems, partnering closely with IT and global teams
Embedding trade compliance processes into system workflows to improve automation, visibility and control
Establishing consistent regional practices for import/export compliance, tariff classification, country of origin determination and export control classification
Overseeing restricted party screening, end‑use due diligence and export transaction reviews
Managing relationships with customs brokers, freight forwarders and external advisors, ensuring compliant and efficient cross‑border operations
Identifying opportunities to leverage preferential trade programs and duty mitigation strategies
Partnering with Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Legal, IT and Commercial teams to integrate compliance into operational processes
Supporting audits, regulatory inquiries and governance frameworks across the region
Developing KPIs, dashboards and reporting to track compliance performance and risk trends
Building regional capability by coaching teams, supporting stakeholders and fostering a strong culture of compliance
We’re seeking a trade compliance professional who combines deep technical expertise with strong process and systems thinking.
Experience in trade compliance, global trade operations, or a related field
Expertise across import compliance, tariff classification, valuation, export controls and screening
Experience implementing or operating Global Trade Management systems (Oracle GTM, SAP GTS, or similar)
Experience working across multiple EMEA jurisdictions and regulatory frameworks
Proven success driving cross‑functional initiatives and process standardisation
Experience working with customs brokers, logistics providers and internal operational teams
Experience in healthcare, life sciences or other regulated industries
Exposure to automation, analytics or digital transformation initiatives
Professional certifications in customs, trade compliance or supply chain
