Position Title: e-Discovery Data Specialist

Salary Range: $72,779 - $95,735
  

• →Manage the end-to-end ingestion and filtering of ESI within Nuix.
• →Run culling and privilege searches to streamline data for legal review.
• →Normalize metadata, handle de- duplication, and text extraction workflows.
• →Generate load files and technical deliverables for downstream review platforms.
• →Troubleshoot technical bottlenecks and processing errors.
• →Ensure data integrity through consistent quality control protocols.
• →Collaborate across departments to ensure timely project delivery.
• →Support Senior Analysts in daily operations and staff training.
   

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college; and
• Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in the legal field, preferably criminal justice related and/or with eDiscovery experience with a law firm or vendor.

Candidates with continuous experience in eDiscovery technology, specifically with Nuix, Relativity or Concordance will be credited with one (1) additional year of experience. 


Preferred Requirements/Skills:

• Technology-related major preferred. 
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office.
• Experience related to eDiscovery and other Litigation Support processes.
• Skilled in standard computer operating systems and software with strong ability to learn new software. 
• Supporting document reviews and case work. 
• Able to manage and resolve problems effectively, dealing confidently and concisely with internal stakeholders.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivator, and able to manage multiple assignments.
• Ability to follow directions and apply proper policies, procedures, and guidelines.

• Current office employees: To be eligible for a transfer or promotion, staff must have already served at least 1 year in their current position and be in good standing. In addition, must meet the minimum qualifications of the position.
• Looking for candidates that could commit to one (1) year to the hiring Unit.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required for this position.
   

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.
