About the Role:
The Assistant Project Manager provides both administrative and in-the-field support across the lifecycle of all construction projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Project Administration
    • Maintain, monitor and organize project trackers relating to upcoming, active and completed projects
    • Run point on set up and administration of construction projects using MRI, CRM and Procore software including processing of vendor authorization forms, establishing detailed project budgets, inputting contracts, managing construction drawings, and managing project milestones
    • Proactively participate in vendor sourcing and prequalification process
    • Prepare, administer and track project RFPs including collection and organization of bid documentation and coordination of RFIs with relevant stakeholders
    • Coordinate and track permits, submittals, change orders, schedules, and other construction documentation throughout the project life cycle
    • Record and distribute meeting agendas and minutes from all scheduled calls with tenants, contractors, consultants, partners etc.
    • Assist with maintenance and updating of master project construction schedules, as well as relevant milestone and phasing schedules
  • Team Administration
    • Support department CM Fee billing and collection efforts
    • Proactively monitor, maintain and improve all CM databases including MRI, CRM, Procore and Sharepoint
    • Record and distribute meeting minutes for recurring internal meetings
    • Assist with ad hoc requests and projects from VP and SVP

Technical Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree;  Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture background preferred
  • Basic knowledge of project management in a construction environment
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel); MS Project experience a plus
  • Ability to travel

The expected salary for this position is between $60,000 and $70,000. The actual compensation will be based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, market and business considerations and other factors permitted by law.
