Vault Solutions is seeking a dependable, hands-on Utility Associate to provide flexible support across our third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse and facilities operations, as well as production support for a related company. This multi-purpose role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in doing the job right, learns new skills quickly, and is willing to step in where needed. The position offers cross-training and the opportunity to build practical skills across logistics, production, and facilities.

Responsibilities

·       Pick and pull outbound orders accurately and on time from warehouse racking.

·       Scan, label, sticker, pack, and prepare products and outbound shipments for UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers, including required labels and paperwork.

·       Build, stretch-wrap, and label pallets; load outbound trucks and less-than-truckload (LTL) freight shipments.

·       Assist with unloading inbound containers and trucks; count and inspect product, verify against packing lists, and enter receipts into the inventory system.

·       Accurately place received inventory in designated storage locations to support inventory control and warehouse organization.

·       Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits; report damages, shortages, and discrepancies promptly.

·       Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment.

·       Maintain packing and shipping supplies and keep warehouse areas clean, safe, and organized.

·       Handle client products carefully and maintain confidentiality of client information.

·       Assist with bottling, labeling, capping, and case packing.

·       Move raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.

·       Clean and sanitize equipment, tanks, and production areas in accordance with procedures.

·       Follow production, quality, sanitation, security, and inventory-control procedures.

·       Assist with production waste disposal according to procedure.

·       Help track bottles, labels, and packaging supplies and support other production tasks as needed.

·       Perform general building upkeep, including replacing light bulbs, minor repairs, painting, patching, and assembling or moving furniture and equipment.

·       Perform landscaping and grounds upkeep, including mowing, trimming, and clearing leaves and debris.

·       Assist with snow and ice removal during winter months.

·       Conduct routine building and grounds walk-throughs and report safety hazards or maintenance needs.

·       Remove trash and recycling and help keep facility supplies stocked.

·       Set up and break down company events.

·       Help maintain clean, orderly common areas and exterior spaces.

·       Report larger maintenance issues to the VP of Operations and assist with coordination of outside vendors.

·       Follow OSHA and company safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and forklift safety.

·       Complete required safety training, including forklift certification.

·       Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow applicable Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

·       Report injuries, near misses, hazards, and unsafe conditions immediately.

Requirements

·       Must be 18 years of age or older.

·       High school diploma or GED.

·       Ability to safely lift up to 100 lbs and perform the physical requirements of the position.

·       Ability to read and understand labels, packing lists, and work instructions.

·       Basic math skills for counts and inventory.

·       Strong attention to detail, particularly with counts, scanning, and labels.

·       Reliable and punctual with a positive, team-first approach.

·       Ability to shift between tasks and teams throughout the workday.

·       Comfort using handheld scanners and basic computer systems.

·       Availability for overtime and occasional early starts or weekend call-ins based on business needs.

·       Warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience.

·       Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or related material-handling equipment; training and certification may be provided.

·       Current forklift certification.

·       Experience using a warehouse management system (WMS) or UPS/FedEx shipping software.

·       Production, manufacturing, bottling, or packaging experience.

·       Basic hand and power tool skills.

·       Valid driver’s license.

·       Regularly lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 100 lbs.

·       Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.

·       Work outdoors in varying weather conditions for groundskeeping and snow-removal duties.

·       Wear required personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, gloves, and eye protection.


Compensation: $20.00 per hour | Full-Time | Hourly, Non-Exempt | On-site
