HR Assistant

DOF Canada is currently seeking an HR Assistant (Fixed-Term) to join our Human Resources team for a period of 6 months with a possibility of extension. If you are looking for a dynamic environment to learn and grow your career, DOF Canada is a great opportunity!

• →Assist with the recruitment process such as scheduling interviews, reference checks etc.;
• →Facilitate the onboarding sessions for new employees;
• →Responsible for maintaining electronic personnel files;
• →Support employee communications;
• →Assist with the work permit process for employees travelling internationally;
• →Other HR Assistant duties as assigned.

• Post-secondary education in Human Resource Management (or equivalent experience);
• 2 - 3 years’ experience in the Human Resources field;
• Strategic thinker but not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get work done;
• Ability to adapt to a fast paced and constantly changing organization with strict deadlines;
• Knowledge of offshore operations would be preferred, but not critical for the position;
• Exceptional team member and lead by example with a focus on developing others and yourself;
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times;
• Organization and time management skills are essential;
• Advanced ability with Microsoft Office products.
