→Clean and maintain floors, furniture, fixtures, walls, ceilings, windows, glass, mirrors, equipment, and other building surfaces using appropriate cleaning methods and equipment.
→Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, polish, remove stains, and dispose of debris, trash, and cardboard.
→Safely use and mix cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer instructions and company standards.
→Operate powered cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, industrial vacuums, and cardboard balers.
→Move furniture, boxes, equipment, and other materials as needed, using hand trucks or other equipment when appropriate.
→Maintain janitorial equipment and keep supply closets and work areas clean, organized, and in good working order; request supplies as needed.
→Follow OSHA, company, and local safety requirements and procedures. Identify and report unsafe conditions, accidents, and injuries promptly.
→Attend required safety meetings, training programs, and hazard assessments.
→Help maintain building security and safety, including locking doors and identifying potential hazards.
→Work safely around powered equipment, at heights, and in tight or confined spaces. May be required to use ladders, drive company vehicles, or perform basic repairs.
→Perform pest-control tasks when required and in accordance with applicable procedures.
→Perform other cleaning, maintenance, and related duties as assigned.
