Small Parts Assistant Supervisor

· Assist supervisor in maintaining adequate finished good stock levels.

· Assist in the daily workflow of the department.

· Review component inventory levels daily.

· Assisting in training new employees

· Work diligently to have materials prepped/ready to go.

· Assist in scheduling production as needed to meet customer demand.

· Verify & shelve materials daily.

· Make sure that all orders go on the same day when possible. Customer service is our priority.

· Participate in product development.

· Make sure dept is kept organized & clean for safety and for company standards.

· Inspect assembly procedures for quality, speed, and accuracy.

· Evaluate cost of assemblies, packages, and other inventories we ship.

· Communicate with the Supervisor and other departments to ensure workflow is efficient.

· Adjust inventory as needed with item journals and assembly bill of materials.

· Hands on assistant supervisor - Build assemblies & DC One kit when needed

· Notify supervisor when components levels are low.

· Assist in preparing and assigning work schedules for assembly.

· Review & verify customer orders from Customer Service to ensure it is the correct product needed.
