This includes: company-wide announcements, executive messaging, and time-sensitive updates including crisis and reactive communications.

This role is ideal for an early-career communications professional (3–5 years experience) who is a strong writer, highly organized, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environments. You will partner closely with the Senior Manager to translate complex or evolving information into clear, effective communications for employees.

  • Managing timelines and driving coordination across stakeholders to ensure communications are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Publishing and maintaining content across internal channels (The Block, Slack, email), ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Synthesizing inputs from cross-functional partners and shaping the messaging into clear, structured drafts.
  • Identifying gaps, risks, or opportunities in communications and proactively proposing solutions.
  • Supporting preparation for company-wide communications moments (e.g. All Hands, major company announcements), including materials and logistics coordination.
  • Assisting with content updates, version control, and quality assurance for sensitive communications.
  • Support high-impact communications: Help bring clarity to complex topics by drafting and refining internal messaging.
  • Execute with precision: Ensure communications are well-organized, accurate, timely, and well-coordinated across stakeholders and channels.
  • Operate in a fast-paced environment: Work on multiple projects simultaneously, often with tight timelines and evolving inputs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with teams across the business to gather inputs and support communications execution.
  • Learn and grow: Develop skills in corporate, executive, and change communications with mentorship from senior team members.
  • Operate with increasing autonomy, making decisions on messaging and execution within defined areas.
  • You have 3–5 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related field.
  • You thrive in high-stakes, fast-paced environments and working across global timezones.
  • You are a strong writer and editor, with the ability to turn rough inputs into clear, concise messaging.
  • You have strong project management skills, able to synthesize complex information into clear, well-structured documents.
  • You are highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • You exercise sound judgment and handle sensitive information with care.
  • You are collaborative, responsive, and proactive in driving work forward.
  • You have the ability to take ownership of projects or workstreams end-to-end with minimal guidance.
