Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead end-to-end iRDK bringup on Mediatek C-X1 from EVK reference to custom iRDK board
- →Own SW stack bring-up: bootloader, kernel, BSP, and middleware integration
- →Serve as primary technical interface with Mediatek for platform enablement and escalations
- →Drive platform characterization: performance, stability, and thermal profiling
- →Provide weekly status, risk, and decision documentation to program leadership
- →Collaborate with architecture , hardware and software teams on bring-up strategy
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of embedded software experience, including 5+ years in a Staff Engineer, Technical Lead, or similar leadership role
- Direct hands-on experience with MediaTek SoC platforms (C-X1, MT8xxx series, or equivalent)
- Proven track record of leading ECU and SoC bring-up programs from concept through production
- Strong expertise in BSP and kernel bring-up, including Linux, U-Boot, or equivalent bootloader technologies
- Proficient in C/C++, Python, and/or Rust, with hands-on experience using hardware debugging tools such as Lauterbach, JTAG, and oscilloscopes
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills, with experience collaborating directly with SoC vendors and external technology partners
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Automotive-grade SoC bring-up experience
- Familiarity with the MediaTek iRDK SDK and associated development toolchains
- Working knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety standards and automotive software development processes
- Experience with hypervisor-based platforms and virtualization technologies in embedded or automotive environments
